The Smelts are part of of the Illinois Masters Swimming Association, the regional group of United States Masters Swimming.

Smelts regularly participate in local Masters meets throughout the season and some Smelts attend the annual Masters Swimming National Championships.

In late January 2004, ILMSA photographer Ramon Nayar joined us for practice and took some great pictures of the team. You may be able to still find them on the ilmsa.com site.
